When astronauts started to explore space, Paul Fisher realised that no existing pen could perform in its zero-gravity vacuum & temperature extremes. He determined to invent such a pen and the result was the sealed-pressurised Fisher AG-7 "Anti-Gravity" Space Pen. After a rigorous two year testing programme, NASA selected the Fisher Space Pen for use on all the Apollo missions.
